Job DescriptionSalary:
Summer Recreation Admin -
Directly support the delivery of summer camps, clinics and the aquatics operations of the department and will split time between being out in the field and office time at the Community Center. Assists the department with data entry, payroll, program enrollment, management of immunization records, making copies, generating rosters, creating newsletters and fliers, and assisting with other projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 17 years of age and/or high school graduate
- Computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software system is advantageous
- Ability to deal with the public in a pleasant manner
- Possess interpersonal skills while working with customers
- Mature, responsible and dependable
- Attentive to details
Hours / Salary
- 30 - 35 hours / week
- $17 / hour
Dates of Employment:
- Mid May - Mid August
Program Aide -
Work alongside with vendors who are providing STEAM programs and their staff to ensure the safety and overall quality of the program for all participants. Responsibilities include assisting with set up and break down of class operations, managing participants in a cohort, and facilitating friendships between participants. Demonstrate enthusiasm when working with the children on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of age and/or high school graduate
- Valid First Aid/CPR and AED certification
- Experience with children of all abilities
- Knowledge of crafts, nature activities, fitness, motor skills development, music, or other related skills
- Leadership skills, sensitive, and responsible
Hours / Salary
- 21 hours / week (half day)
- 37 hours / week (full day)
- $15 / hour
Dates of Employment:
- June (preseason work) - August 22nd
