Maintenance Coordinator – 2nd Shift
Location: Gloucester, MA
Pay: $80,000 – $92,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift
Employment Type: Direct Hire
About the Opportunity:
A growing food manufacturing company in Gloucester, MA is hiring a Maintenance Coordinator to lead and support 2nd shift maintenance operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with leadership experience who’s ready to drive equipment reliability, support production goals, and mentor a skilled maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate the activities of 2nd shift maintenance technicians.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.
- Train and mentor team members to strengthen technical skills and promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food, beverage, or consumer goods preferred).
- Prior experience leading or supervising maintenance teams.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; electrical or controls background is a plus.
- Experience using CMMS software and proficiency with computers.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
