Corporate Controller – Thompson Associates (Nashua, NH)
Thompson Associates is looking for a skilled Automotive Controller to join our centralized office team in Nashua, NH. Our team supports multiple dealerships as well as other business operations. We’re seeking someone who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership, thrives in a dynamic environment, and brings both flexibility and precision to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the monthly close process.
- Oversee the preparation of all monthly financial reports and schedules, including income statements, balance sheets, variance reports, and reconciliations.
- Provide leadership for the accounting departments, ensuring policies, procedures, and personnel are aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage cash flow and oversee the company’s cash management processes.
- Take on additional duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven background in accounting with the ability to prepare, analyze, and finalize financial statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA license strongly preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability and a team-oriented approach.
- Skilled at meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and detail-focused with a commitment to excellence.
