Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with Deaf/Hard of Hearing and visual impairments.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Utilize appropriate teaching strategies and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in specialized education settings.
- Strong understanding of teaching methods for students with hearing and visual impairments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
