Location:Boston, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with Deaf/Hard of Hearing and visual impairments.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Utilize appropriate teaching strategies and resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in specialized education settings.
  • Strong understanding of teaching methods for students with hearing and visual impairments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
