We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Shelburne, Vermont. In this role, you will be responsible for managing HR systems, administering employee benefits, and overseeing leave programs while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the organization’s HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and analytics.

• Administer employee leave programs, including disability support, ensuring compliance with federal and Vermont-specific regulations.

• Oversee employee benefits processes such as enrollment, renewals, and maintaining vendor relationships.

• Drive process improvements within HR systems, benefits administration, and leave management.

• Create and deliver HR-related reports and metrics to assist senior leadership in making informed strategic decisions.

• Stay informed of HR best practices and employment laws, particularly those relevant to Vermont.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve onboarding processes and employee relations.

• Ensure clear communication of benefits and leave policies to employees to promote understanding and engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, including benefits administration and HRIS expertise.
• Proficiency in managing HR information systems and generating data reports.
• Solid knowledge of leave program administration and compliance with employment laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Experience in employee relations and onboarding processes.
• Results-driven approach with a focus on delivering high-quality HR services.
