Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Massachusetts-licensed school psychologist is needed to provide essential support to high school students within a school setting. This full-time contract role offers a career opportunity to contribute directly to the academic and emotional well-being of students during the current school year.

Location: Amherst, MA
Position Type: Contract, Full Time (35 hours/week)
Duration: ASAP to 6/25/2026
Setting: High School

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and counseling to support student learning and mental health.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions tailored to student needs.
  • Provide consultation to school staff regarding student behavior and emotional development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license is required (a screenshot of the license is required upon application).
  • Proven experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the high school level.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and school staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and to develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for timely arrival and mobility within the school environment.
