Title: Experience Staff Accountant

As we continue to grow and modernize our operations, we’re looking for a skilled Experience Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced, hands-on environment. This position is best suited for someone with a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and experience working in a manufacturing or product-based business. You will report directly to the company General Manager and collaborate closely with the company’s external accounting firm, Quadrant Advisory.

Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting

Record and code general ledger transactions from bank and credit card statements

Assist in monthly and year-end close processes

Record monthly credit card expenses
-
Update tracking schedules for accrued expenses and royalties

Upload credit card settlement and deposit reports for reconciliation
Accounts Payable (AP)

Record vendor invoices into BILL
-
Upload and code AP payments and ACH transactions into Sage accounting software

Implement and maintain BILL as the vendor management system

Conduct weekly AP review meetings with the General Manager to prioritize vendor payments
-
Reconcile AP activity and assist in month-end accruals
Accounts Receivable (AR)

Upload daily bank transactions into Sage 100

Record cash receipts and deposits from various sources, including:

Shopify sales
-
Affirm sales
-
Sales from motorcycle rallies
-
Merchant account credit card payments
-
Amazon store
-
Paper check deposits
-
-
Apply customer prepayments to custom orders and rally invoices
-
Reconcile and match sales tax collected to Avalara reports and adjust entries as needed
Reporting & Compliance

Support outside accounting provider in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements under GAAP

Prepare and submit 1099 forms annually

Assist with year-end financial statement preparation and liaise with external stakeholders, including the tax preparer and ownership group.
Technical and Soft Skills:

Software: Experience working with Sage 100 and BILL (Avalara sales tax, Shopify, and Clover is a preferred as well but not required)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

3–10 years of accounting experience; manufacturing or product-based business experience required; strong understanding of accrual accounting

Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with on-site and remote teams

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and initiative
