Truss Assembler – 2nd Shift
Shift:
- Monday–Friday
- 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM
- Possible Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate:
- $18.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Truss Assembler to join our 2nd shift production team. This role involves assembling wood trusses according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble wood trusses using hand tools, nail guns, and machinery
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
- Measure, cut, and position lumber accurately
- Ensure quality and structural integrity of assembled trusses
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Meet production goals and work efficiently as part of a team
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or construction experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when required
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Physical work requiring lifting, bending, and standing
