Product Specialist / Pavement and Transportation

Job DescriptionSalary:
The Product Specialist / Pavement & Transportation supports GSSI customers and internal teams through deep technical knowledge of pavement evaluation, transportation infrastructure applications, and GSSIs specialized product portfolio. This role provides advanced technical support, creates application specific training programs, conducts in-field engagements, and contributes critical application feedback to enhance our Pavement and Transportation roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively provide Tier 2/3 product support and troubleshooting for GSSI hardware and software, with an emphasis on GSSIs pavement and transportation products
- Conduct and lead customer training, onboarding, and field implementation of GSSI products
- Contribute to application notes, technical guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge bases
- Collaborate with sales for technical demos, pre-sales support, and post-sale follow-up
- Capture and communicate customer feedback to Product Management for roadmap consideration
- Participate in product testing, validation, and support readiness for new releases
- Assist at trade shows, webinars, and events as a technical representative
- Along with peers, create, maintain, and update online LMS training content to help customers achieve success with GSSI products.
Education, Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred; instructional experience or certification a plus.
- 3+ years in a technical support, applications, or product-focused role (GPR or field instrumentation experience a plus)
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly across audiences
- Experience with pavement process control, including in the lab or in the field is highly desired
Travel Requirements:
This position will require 25% - 50% travel. Some international travel may be required.
