Robert Half has partnered with a local organization that is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our international subsidiaries and joint ventures. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, expertise in multi-currency accounting, compliance with U.S. and local regulations, and the ability to coordinate effectively with regional finance teams.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for international entities.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. and local accounting standards and regulations.
• Oversee compliance with internal controls and organizational policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and local accounting firms to facilitate statutory audits and filings.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Support global financial consolidation and manage intercompany eliminations.
• Monitor foreign currency transactions and address translation impacts.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, and legal teams to ensure accurate accounting and compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal controls across international operations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to regional accounting teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure on international operations.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and audits.
• Expertise in account reconciliation and journal entry management.
• Experience in handling multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements related to U.S. and local regulations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external auditors.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide regional accounting teams.
