Job Description
Job DescriptionShape the Flow of Materials at a Global Manufacturer
Picture this: you start your morning walk-through of a well-organized warehouse, inspect your lift truck using the Operator Daily Checklist, and map out the day’s inbound trailers and railcars. By mid-morning, you’ve safely staged pallets, verified load integrity, and coordinated space so inventory moves effortlessly. In the afternoon, you switch over to rail, connecting and disconnecting cars—rain or shine—then help the team prep for upcoming physical inventories. That’s a day in the life of a Warehouse Operations & Forklift Specialist at Teknor Apex.
Teknor Apex began as a single tire shop in Rhode Island in 1924 and has grown into a leading, privately held custom compounder with nine U.S. facilities and operations in Belgium, Singapore, Germany, and China. Still family led (now by our founder’s grandson), we thrive on long-term relationships—with customers and employees alike—that power smarter materials and better products worldwide.
