Job Title: Associate UX Designer

Location: Hybrid – Acton, MA

Job Summary

Join a mission-driven digital experience team focused on improving the lives of people managing diabetes. As an Associate UX Designer, you'll help create intuitive and inclusive digital solutions across web and mobile platforms that serve a diverse set of users—from patients and caregivers to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to UX deliverables including user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with senior designers, engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into impactful designs.
  • Support and participate in user research and usability testing.
  • Apply accessibility and usability best practices.
  • Assist in evolving and maintaining the team’s design system.
  • Use tools like Figma, Miro, and Confluence to create and communicate designs.
  • Participate in design critiques and QA processes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of UX or product design experience (internships or academic projects welcome).
  • Strong interest in user-centered design and accessibility.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Effective communicator, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
  • Organized, proactive, and collaborative team player.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating design thinking and user-focused solutions.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with on-site collaboration in Acton, MA.
