Comp Range: $45,000-$50,000
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage all aspects of customer cash application
- Initiate and coordinate resolution of unapplied cash, short payments, etc.
- Maintain Finance Charge Log
- Assist with audit, Credit & Key Account functions, and projects that may arise within the Finance Group
- Enter SharePoint Claims for Key Account deductions
- Issue discount Sales Credit Memos (SCM) into BC
- Run weekly aging report
- Month end reporting
- Responsible for issuing month end customer statements
- Manage Master Data Log
- Assist Credit Department to maintain updates Credit Applications / Credit Forms/Exempt Certificates/Cannabis Licenses
- Prepare Risk Analysis for credit limit increase/decrease review
- Bi-weekly meetings with Manager to review challenges, the progress of disputes and updates on customer account issues
- Attend Training Webinars
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interface effectively with internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- General accounting knowledge
- Ability and desire to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
- MS office proficiency
- MS Excel proficiency
- Business Central
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates Degree in Business or Accounting
- In lieu of a degree, 2 years office experience with direct customer contact
- Cash application experienced preferred but not necessary
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Confidentiality of privileged information must be maintained
- Must be dependable and consistent attendance is required
