An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional in a supportive elementary school environment. This position focuses on providing specialized educational services to students with diverse learning needs as a long-term substitute Special Education Teacher.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a prehensive approach to student learning.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote success in the classroom.
- municate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation as required by state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Rhode Island Department of Education certification as a secondary special educator.
- National BCI certification with fingerprints.
- Experience working in elementary education, particularly with special education students.
- Proficient in creating and implementing IEPs.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
