Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional in a supportive elementary school environment. This position focuses on providing specialized educational services to students with diverse learning needs as a long-term substitute Special Education Teacher.

Location:
Fall River, MA

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a prehensive approach to student learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote success in the classroom.
• municate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation as required by state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Rhode Island Department of Education certification as a secondary special educator.
• National BCI certification with fingerprints.
• Experience working in elementary education, particularly with special education students.
• Proficient in creating and implementing IEPs.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills.
