Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting in Cambridge, MA. This contract position spans a full semester, with the potential to continue through the end of the school year in June 2026.

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM
• Onsite in an elementary school environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lessons and materials
• Utilize individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet student needs
• Maintain documentation and monitor student progress
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Massachusetts teaching license or certification in Special Education
• Previous school-based special education teaching experience required
• Spanish-speaking candidates preferred but not mandatory
• Completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting required; a Letter of Suitability from a previous employer for fingerprints may be accepted
• Ability to participate in a Zoom interview process
