Position Purpose

A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides
community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The Manager of Individual Giving is responsible for developing and executing strategies to cultivate, retain, and grow a community of individual donors giving under $10,000 annually. This role plays a critical part in advancing All Hands and Hearts mission by driving sustainable revenue growth, deepening donor engagement, and ensuring a strong foundation for long-term individual giving.



Working closely with Development, Marketing, and Finance teams, the Manager will oversee a portfolio of mid- and lower-tier donors, manage our monthly giving program ("The Builders"), and implement thoughtful, data-informed strategies to attract new supporters, retain existing ones, and re-engage lapsed donors.



This position is based in the U.S.



Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to Senior Director of Sustained Giving Strategy & Partnerships
  • Roles reporting to the position: Donor Administration Coordinator

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement comprehensive giving plans aligned with yearly organizational revenue targets, from donors contributing under $10,000 through a mix of digital, direct mail, monthly giving, and personalized outreach strategies.
  • Manage a dynamic portfolio of donors under $10,000, including recurring monthly donors, by implementing engagement strategies such as welcome series, anniversary touchpoints, and impact-driven updates.
  • Must achieve established fundraising goals in accordance with defined monetary goals.
  • Drive multi-channel donor acquisition and reactivation efforts to increase the number of individual donors annually.
  • Maintain meaningful mid-level donor touchpoints monthly.
  • Support annual direct mail efforts, donor communications, and fundraising campaigns to ensure consistent stewardship and brand alignment.
  • Oversee accurate and timely gift processing and acknowledgment and ensure all donor acknowledgments are sent within a seven-day turnaround and conduct quality control checks to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain and manage account portfolio, donor records, and opportunity pipelines in Salesforce.
  • Conduct regular forecasting and provide monthly reports on performance against revenue, retention, and acquisition goals.
  • Monitor donor behavior and giving trends to inform personalized outreach and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, especially during high-volume periods or disaster activations.



Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Related Experience: 3+ years of fundraising experience, with 3+ years of proven experience in individual giving at a mission-driven organization or non-profit.
  • Special Competencies/Certifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills and confidence working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. Confidence working in Salesforce and reporting.. Applicants need to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: The typical starting salary is $55,000 - $61,250, based on skills and experience, and up to $67,500 for highly qualified candidates who have previous experience in the role.
