Semester: Spring 2026
Compensation: $825 - $975 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)

Overview:
NHTI Concord's Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member(s) to teach NHTI’s Dental Hygiene courses. This is an opportunity to teach courses that provide students with essential knowledge in areas such as dental hygiene with an emphasis on practical applications and real-world relevance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Current dental hygiene licensure in NH, DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) CDA certification preferred. Possession of an earned Master’s degree in the subject/content area, or a Master’s degree in Education with twelve (12) graduate credits in the subject/content area or closely related to the teaching assignment and a Bachelor’s degree in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment combined with a minimum of two years of related teaching and/or professional work experience is preferred. Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in the subject/content area or closely related field to the teaching assignment, or a Bachelor’s degree in Education and an Associate’s degree in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment combined with three (3) years of related teaching or professional work experience shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements. Individuals must possess required licenses or certifications as required within the field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Dental Hygiene practice.
- Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, or RI.
Position Responsibilities:
- Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
- Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
