The Operation Support Specialist (OSS) is responsible for providing real-time technical and operational support to field technicians, managing incoming support. The OSS delivers full tech support for systems and mapping tools, assists in resolving job-related issues, and actively challenges referrals and suspended jobs within VX Field to ensure proper coding and workflow.

Role and Responsibilities for the Operation Support Specialist

The OSS is responsible for all job-related issues as it pertains but not limited to:

  • Taking support requests from the field utilizing our telegram team app and to remedy issues and challenge job referrals.
  • To take requests in a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis.
  • Full-tech support as it pertains to systems and maps.
  • Real time advice/support for technicians in the field.
  • To challenge every single potential referral or suspended job in VX Field and ensure coding and hand off to other buckets are correct.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders for additional support needs.
  • This team will also handle the administrative and reporting tasks as it pertains to:
  • Schedule exception or call out reporting by 7:30am.
  • Attendance reporting daily by 8:30am.
  • Communicating with FTR Dispatch, Vendor Management and utilizing VX Field to monitor jobs and technician routes.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma OR relevant experience in operations and project management
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

Compensation

This is a temporary remote-based position.
