What You’ll Do:The Sales Operations Administrator is a newly created role designed to strengthen our sales operations and broker support. This position balances data entry and order processing with reporting, administrative coordination, and broker communication to ensure the sales process runs smoothly.This role is primarily remote, with some in-person training preferred and occasional travel for broker visits, trade shows, and industry events.Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Broker Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field brokers, providing timely support and ensuring smooth communication.
- Coordinate customer and prospect meetings, preparing presentation materials and exhibits.
- Assist the sales team with proposals, scheduling, and administrative needs.
- Operations, Data Entry & Reporting
- Process and enter sales orders, RFP responses, and broker/customer documentation into internal systems with accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity across CRM, ERP, and sales tracking tools.
- Generate, analyze, and present sales reports to leadership and brokers.
- Maintain accurate records to support smooth sales operations and decision-making.
- Support continuous process improvement in sales operations, reporting, and documentation functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–4 years of experience in sales support, operations, or related administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident working with brokers, sales leaders, and customers.
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in order entry, data processing, or record management.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Industry knowledge in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or wholesale distribution is a plus.
