Position Overview
The Business Development Specialist is a full-time position responsible for driving the growth of Fuller Collision Group and its affiliated brands. This role focuses on expanding our client base, strengthening relationships, and enhancing brand visibility through proactive outreach, strategic marketing, and industry networking. The ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter with a proven track record in business development, preferably within the automotive or collision repair sectors.
+Key Responsibilities
Finding New Customers
- Look for new businesses that need collision repair services (insurance companies, car dealerships, companies with vehicle fleets).
- Research your area to find businesses we haven't worked with yet.
- Figure out who makes decisions at these companies and what problems they have.
- Learn how insurance companies, dealerships, and fleet managers work.
Taking Care of Current Customers
- Build strong relationships with the customers we already have.
- Check in regularly to make sure they're happy with our service.
- Look for ways to do more work for existing customers.
- Help solve any problems that come up.
Managing Your Sales Work
- Make phone calls, send emails, and visit customers in person.
- Keep track of all your contacts and follow-ups in our computer system (GHL).
- Predict how much money we'll make from your work.
- Follow up with potential customers using a planned approach.
Working with Our Marketing Team
- Help create advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Share what you learn from customers to help improve our marketing.
- Give feedback on which marketing efforts are working best.
- Help with social media, email campaigns, and other advertising.
Going to Industry Events
- Attend trade shows and networking events to meet new people.
- Represent our company at professional meetings.
- Build your reputation in the collision repair industry.
- Stay up to date on new trends and technology.
Working with Our Team
- Work closely with our estimators, technicians, and customer service team.
- Make sure we can deliver what you promise to customers.
- Help resolve any issues that might hurt customer relationships.
- Understand enough about collision repair to set realistic expectations.
Studying the Market
- Keep track of what our competitors are doing.
- Understand market trends and changes.
- Monitor how well we're performing compared to others.
- Share insights with company leadership.
Tracking Your Results
- Keep records of your sales activities and results.
- Create reports on your progress.
- Track how well you're keeping customers happy.
- Measure the success of different business development activities.
