Job Description

Colebrook Plumbing & Heating is seeking a motivated and experienced Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on plumbing experience and be ready to contribute to a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role involves working closely with our licensed plumbers to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing, heating, and gas systems.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Perform diagnostic tests to locate and identify leaks and other plumbing issues.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing and heating systems.
Handle and transport tools and materials safely and efficiently.
Assist in the installation and servicing of oil and heating systems.
Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local plumbing and safety codes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues and customers.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of plumbing apprenticeship or relevant work experience.
Valid EPA license, a plus
Valid Oil and Heating certificates, a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in using standard plumbing tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
