Shift: 1st shift 6:15 am - 2:45 pm, 40hrs/week
Payrate: $19.00 - $20.00/hr on w2 basis
Job Overview
Amazon Robotics is seeking Robotics Assembly and Material Handling Technicians to support the production of complex electro-mechanical equipment.
This role may involve hands-on assembly of robotic components, warehouse material handling, or a combination of both, depending on business needs.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Principal Job Requirements:
• Electromechanical Assembly – Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• May also perform assembly support or material handling tasks, including:
Moving, staging, or delivering materials and components to workstations.
Operating pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
Assisting with kitting, labeling, and organization of production parts.
Supporting inventory accuracy through proper documentation and scanning.
• Performs other jobs related to assembly, repair, and rework as required.
• Must be able to follow written work instructions and perform data entry into various production systems.
• Performs quality inspections and works with an understanding of what is critical to quality. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms/entries.
• Works with safety as a priority by following procedures and applying general safe practices in manufacturing.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt of supplies.
• Demonstrates proficient oral and written communication skills and collaborates well in a team environment.
• The successful candidate for this position will be self-managed and possess the desire, drive, and energy needed to deliver and be part of daily execution. Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work all days of the shift, including some overtime.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with computers, manufacturing software, and perform data entry.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team/group setting.
• Ability to work in a mechanical setting with proficiency in using power tools and related equipment.
