Custom Learning Designs has partnered with Hueman to find a strategic, relationship-driven Account Executive to join our team. This is a full-time remote position.

As an Account Executive at CLD, you'll be the key point of contact for our strategic accounts. The AE will work closely with clients to understand their goals, advise them on how to achieve success through our solutions, and ensure the smooth delivery of impactful training initiatives. The Account Executive will also collaborate internally across project management, sales, and marketing teams to grow relationships and uncover new opportunities.

Custom Learning Designs (CLD) is a leading provider of custom training solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. At CLD, we support our customers in developing customized training for their commercial sales teams, medical teams (MSLs), patients, and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with strategic clients in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Understand clients’ business and training goals, and align CLD’s offerings to meet them

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, attend leadership meetings and support presentations when needed

  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts and partner with the sales team to win new business

  • Monitor client satisfaction and project success, providing feedback to internal teams

  • Mentor Project Managers on key accounts, ensuring alignment and excellence in service delivery

  • Represent CLD in sales presentations and industry events

  • Capture competitive intelligence from client conversations and industry events

  • Collaborate with marketing to help identify and engage prospective clients

  • Recommend new services and help shape sales messaging based on client needs


Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or business development (experience in pharma or healthcare preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative and proactive approach
  • Proven ability to manage complex relationships and influence strategic outcomes

  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and facilitating discussions

  • Self-motivated, curious, and industry-savvy
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events

  • This role is ideal for someone with a background in medical education, pharma marketing, or healthcare communications
