Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available serving multiple school locations with travel within Worcester, MA. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with experience in educational psychology and a passion for supporting student mental health, learning, and development across diverse school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Travel between schools within the Worcester area to provide on-site services and support
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a school psychologist in Massachusetts
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions in schools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between schools within the assigned region
