Rockland Federal Credit Union (RFCU) is searching for a Branch Manager to join our Brockton team. Under the direction of the AVP/Branch Coordinator, the Branch Manager organizes and manages the activities of the Brockton Branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages assigned Branch personnel by making routine employment decisions, reviewing performance, and making salary recommendations. Manages and evaluates branch personnel regarding position responsibilities. Oversees assignments and provides training and guidance to subordinates as needed.
- Generates new business through in-branch promotional activities. Directs and promotes branch sales activities, manages the sales efforts of the branch for the full range of financial products through coaching sales staff to achieve goals through modeling, direct observations and constructive feedback.
- Interviews and advises loan applicants relative to needs and qualifications.
- Leads Credit Union participation in local community activities that will bring value to the organization. Establishes and maintains involvement in community activities to promote business and generate sales.
- Maintains visibility within the branch, greeting members, directing them to the appropriate personnel and ensuring Member needs are met.
- Supervises, coaches, and develops staff. Provides information and implementation of new policies and procedures through regular staff meetings and training.
- Manages difficult situations with Members and provides them with a resolution, information, or additional options. Responds to and resolves any member complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
- Oversees general operation of the Branch including the lobby, posters and marketing materials, security, etc.
- Maintains certification with NMLS as a Licensed Mortgage Originator. Maintains Notary License and performs Notary services for members
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. At least three (3) years' experience within a financial industry.
- Possesses strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience in providing excellent customer service
- Ability to sell and manage sales activities and consumer lending processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated sound judgement and the ability to solve problems using resourcefulness and ingenuity.
- High attention to detail, strong mathematical aptitude and proven interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include occasional Saturday work and attendance at community events.
Work Schedule and Benefits
As a Branch Manager, you will work a 40-hour full-time schedule Monday through Saturday.
