What You'll Be Doing
As a Casual Package Delivery Driver, your day will be filled with exciting challenges, including:
- Driving our iconic brown trucks to deliver packages of all shapes and sizes.
- Providing excellent customer service with a smile.
- Handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting packages up to 70 lbs.
- Adhering to UPS uniform standards and appearance guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid driver’s license (no CDL required, but license type varies by state).
- The ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Strong customer service and driving skills.
- The legal right to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions
As a full-time Casual Package Delivery Driver, you can expect:
- Workdays that vary from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.
- Shifts lasting between eight to ten hours.

Note: This is a seasonal position, but it’s a fantastic way to start your journey with UPS. Permanent, full-time delivery drivers can earn an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including healthcare benefits, paid vacation, and contributions to a pension plan.
