Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An elementary school in Rindge, NH is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to support students from Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade. These contract positions are available for the current school year, with teachers starting on August 25th and students beginning on August 28th. This opportunity provides the chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 25 students, utilizing both push-in and pull-out instructional models to meet individual student needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a case manager for assigned students, overseeing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering targeted instruction and specialized support within general education and separate settings
- Collaborating with colleagues, therapists, and families to promote student growth and inclusion
- Maintaining documentation and progress reports in pliance with NH special education regulations
Qualifications:
- NH Special Education Teaching License (1900) is required
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-age students in a special education setting
- Ability to implement push-in and pull-out services effectively
- Strong organizational and munication skills for managing caseload responsibilities
