Mass Tank is in search of a Tank Inspector to join our team. We are a team of motivated self-starters who enjoy working hard and having fun while doing it. Mass Tank is the largest steel tank manufacturer in the Northeast, and along with our Tank Inspection & Service division, we aim to provide a full-service tank solution. Whether a customer needs a new tank, or a tank inspected, cleaned, repaired, or altered – we can support. Our team is growing and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team and support our growth. The following qualifications are required:
- Non Destructive Testing Experience preferred
- Inspection report writing experience
- Self-starter attitude who can work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
- Team oriented mindset
- Proficient written and oratory skills
- Experience working directly with customers. Our technicians will regularly interface with our customers or partners
- Safety minded professionals – it is important that our team takes safety and the wellbeing of others seriously
- Someone who can travel – the job will require to get out of the office and on the road within driving distance
Mass Tank Tank Inspector Technician responsibilities generally include:
- Inspecting various types of tank and tank systems
- Inspection methods include visual, ultrasonic testing, pneumatic testing, and various other methods on fuel tanks, water tanks, chemical tanks, etc
- Documenting inspection results through pictures, written descriptions, and numerical readings as required
- Working within a team to support all team members safely
- Performing limited maintenance tasks as required
- Participate in companywide training initiatives such as Confined Space, OSHA30, Fall Protection, etc
- Provide on-site training or explanation to customers or on-site technicians
