Job DescriptionOur growing HVAC company is looking for a problem solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of install experience in the HVAC field. You are an accomplished HVAC install tech that will meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You’ll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you’ll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. $24 - $40 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Replace heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems
- Attach pipes or tubing from the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to HVAC equipment
- Enter completed projects and the parts used into database
- Check electrical testing equipment to check all electrical circuits and components
- Comply with all applicable standards, codes, policies, and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills
- EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification required
- Candidate is comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces
- Candidate must obtain required state and local HVAC technician licenses
- Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician
