Facilities Maintenance Technician - $26/HR
Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the company's facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all facilities are in a safe and functional condition, and for identifying and repairing any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
- Inspect facilities for potential hazards and safety issues
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems
- Maintain and update facility records, including maintenance logs and work orders
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technologies
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Must be able to tolerate noise, dust, and fumes
