Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of automated material handling equipment and warehouse systems. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASRS equipment, conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and related automation systems.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues quickly and effectively.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per schedules.

• Monitor and log system performance and respond to system alerts and failures.

• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability.

• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Support system upgrades and participate in the installation of new equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or warehouse environment.

• At least 1–2 years of direct experience working with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

• Experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI interfaces.

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
