Schulte Staffing is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a growing, high-tech manufacturing company in Peabody, MA. This role is perfect for someone with a mechanical or engineering background, hands-on experience in manufacturing, and a proven track record in B2B sales. You’ll help industrial customers solve real-world challenges with innovative measuring and alignment solutions, while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Peabody, Mass | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $85,000 + Commission
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales growth by developing strong, lasting customer relationships
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical challenges and provide solutions
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams on customer projects and product designs
- Use CRM tools to manage leads, quotes, and customer communications (experience with any CRM, including ACT or Quotewerks, is great)
- Inside sales with occasional off-site customer appointment
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in manufacturing or mechanical systems
- Strong technical, mechanical, or engineering knowledge
- Comfortable explaining engineering concepts to customers and providing solutions
- Hands-on manufacturing experience and familiarity with industrial environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bonus skills: SolidWorks, machine shop experience, or mechanical design experience
