Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Massachusetts Psychologist is needed to provide school-based psychological support at a public high school in Amherst, MA. This full-time contract position spans the current school year through June 25, 2026, and requires an active MA Psych license.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Psychologist license (submission of license screenshot required)
- Experience providing psychological services in school settings
- Strong skills in student assessment, counseling, and intervention planning
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation and availability for full-time hours (35 hours/week)
Location:
- High school in Amherst, MA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student needs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to monitor student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
