We are now hiring for 3 General Laborers in Chester. In this role, you will provide various support duties to the manufacturing staff throughout the facility. You must be able to follow detailed instructions, frequently lift 50 lbs or more, and perform other duties as assigned. This is a 2nd shift position from Monday to Thursday with some overtime availability. Starting pay will be $17.50 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide support duties to the manufacturing staff.
- Follow detailed work instructions.
- Frequently lift 50 lbs or more.
- Assist in production, packing, and packaging tasks.
- Operate various production machinery as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfortable working with food and strong scents.
- Comfortable operating various production machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in general labor or production roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with packing and packaging processes.

Work Environment
You will be working in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. The work is physically demanding, and the conditions can be hot and sticky. You will be required to follow a dress code appropriate for food manufacturing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, Vermont.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
