About this opportunity
This non-safety sensitive position is responsible for installing and maintaining tank monitors, performing training on all tank monitor responsibilities, and providing forecasting recommendations on Eastern’s automatic delivery accounts. This position will travel frequently between districts for tank monitor maintenance and training.
What your role will look like
- Install, maintain, and service tank monitors on LP tanks in the field; troubleshoot and diagnose problems on monitors at customer locations.
- Plan, prepare, and perform training on tank monitor installation, maintenance, and service for field employees.
- Act as subject matter expert when coordinating between field employees and Logistics department.
- Integrate tank monitor program information and collected data into JD Edwards.
- Monitor specific distribution performance metrics and prepare reports and communications by gathering and summarizing data.
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner in compliance with state and federal motor vehicle laws.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Experience: Energy industry experience preferred.
- Submit to and pass Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol tests.
