Job Description Reports to: Executive Director, New Hampshire & Maine
Location: In or near New Hampshire or Maine

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for implementing AFSP-approved programs within New Hampshire & Maine.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow chapter network to expand engagement and program delivery
  • Manage, plan, coordinate, and implement AFSP’s prevention, education, loss and healing, and research connection programs as well as other programmatic activities in person and virtually
  • Organize, distribute, and deliver materials to volunteers for programmatic activities and events
  • Develop websites, e-blasts, social media content, and other promotional materials for programmatic activities and events
  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, managing, and stewarding volunteers to deliver programs throughout the chapter territory
  • Develop and implement budgets for all programmatic activities
  • Work with event-related vendors, municipalities, and venues
  • Provide programmatic content for sponsorship and grant applications
  • Ensure program information is available at all chapter activities
  • Under supervision of Area Director, staff chapter program committees
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Bachelors Degree preferred

Experience and/or Training 2-3 years’ experience in non profit program delivery

Technology/EquipmentStrong technology skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Social Media

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while moving files or small packages. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.   • This role requires you to have a driver’s license and/or the ability to drive across your state(s) to which the role is a steward; must be able to rent vehicle on behalf of AFSP as needed.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Role will be fully remote, work from home unless required to appear in person to deliver programming or for other assigned events or conferences. Travel is required. Must reside in service territory.


SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Annual salary range: $55,000 - 65,000

22 PTO (vacation, sick, wellness and personal days) your first year of employment (5 additional days 2nd year)
