About the Role
We are a growing construction company based in Manchester, NH, seeking an experienced Construction Foreman with strong layout, blueprint reading, and crew leadership skills. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who can lead from the field while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee job site layout using blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Read and interpret construction drawings and details accurately
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate field crews
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks efficiently
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
- Communicate clearly with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Maintain job site organization, safety compliance, and productivity
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a construction foreman or lead carpenter
- Strong layout experience (metal stud framing, site layout, or similar)
- Excellent blueprint reading and plan interpretation skills
- Demonstrated crew leadership and supervisory experience
- Solid understanding of construction methods and sequencing
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within a 100-mile radius
- OSHA certification (preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Experience with commercial site work
- Ability to mentor and train crew members
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
