Account Bookkeeper
Emergency Temporary Housing

Emergency Temporary Housing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who is comfortable working independently, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring financial accuracy in a mission-driven organization.
Position Summary
The Account Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and supporting overall accounting operations. This is a part-time salaried position based on 30 hours per week, offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage financial records using QuickBooks

Maintain monthly invoicing

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting

Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance

Support payroll and expense tracking as needed

Ensure financial data accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional experience using QuickBooks

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Proficiency with basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Compensation & Benefits
