We are currently recruiting for a Research Data Analyst to join Crosby Advisors. In this position, you will play a vital role in contributing to the investment performance of the team by working closely with investment professionals across CA.
POSITION DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide general researchsupport to Crosby Advisors
- Conduct a variety of analyses across the fundamental, quantitative, and data science disciplines gather and analyze industry data, interpret results, form conclusions and reflect results
- Work closely with investors on various proprietary research projects to support the investment process
- Streamline data collection and data management
The Skills and Experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel/VBA skills and an aptitude for technology and working with (and presenting) data
- Experience with financial databases like Bloomberg and FactSet
- Exhibited experience/interest/skill in fundamental industry analysis
- Exhibited experience/interest/skill in quantitative analysis
- Exhibited experience/interest/skill in data science
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills and is able to clearly articulate research findings
- A commitment to the integrity of the scientific method

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, A graduate degree in a financial or investment related discipline, a hard science, mathematics, or a CFA charter, are a plus.
- 10+ years of work experience, preferably in areas related to security investing, financial statement analysis, accounting, valuation, economics or statistics
Skills and Knowledge
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated financial analysis and valuation skills
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
