Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Cultural petency and mitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive school environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
- Offer training and support to staff and parents on mental health and wellness
- Implement crisis intervention plans and provide emergency support as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in pliance with regulations
