Your Responsibilities
As a Non-CDL Driver, you will:
- Deliver packages to residential and business locations.
- Lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Provide excellent customer service with a smile.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and safety standards.
What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A valid driver’s license (no CDL required, license type varies by state).
- The ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Strong customer service and driving skills.
- The legal right to work in the U.S.
- A commitment to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Working Conditions
As a full-time casual package delivery driver, you can expect:
- Workdays of 8 to 10 hours, with schedules varying from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday based on business needs.

Note: This is a seasonal role, which can be a fantastic starting point at UPS. Many seasonal drivers transition into permanent positions with even more benefits! Permanent, full-time delivery drivers enjoy an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including:
- $0 healthcare premiums.
- Up to seven weeks of paid vacation.
- Paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days.
- Contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan.
