Who Are UPS Casual Package Delivery Drivers?
Our Casual Package Delivery Drivers are the heart of our operations. They drive our iconic brown trucks, bringing joy and convenience to our customers. If you love being outdoors, staying active, and working in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you!
Your Responsibilities
As a Non-CDL Driver, you will:
- Deliver packages of all shapes and sizes to residential and business locations.
- Provide excellent customer service with every delivery.
- Adhere to company guidelines and safety standards.
- Enjoy a physically active workday, lifting packages up to 70 lbs.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid driver’s license (no CDL required, license type varies by state).
- The ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Strong customer service and driving skills.
- The legal right to work in the U.S.
- To comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Working Conditions
As a full-time casual package delivery driver, you can expect:
- Workdays of 8 to 10 hours, with schedules varying from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday based on business needs.

Note: This is a seasonal role, which can be a fantastic starting point at UPS. Many seasonal drivers transition into permanent positions, enjoying an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including:
- $0 healthcare premiums.
- Up to seven weeks of paid vacation.
- Paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days.
- Contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan.
