Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compensation analyses to evaluate internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Support the design, implementation, and administration of base pay, incentive, and recognition programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and managers to provide guidance on compensation-related issues, including job evaluations, pay recommendations, and offers.
  • Lead participation in salary surveys and benchmarking studies; analyze results and make recommendations based on market data.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding pay equity, FLSA classifications, and other compensation-related requirements.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track compensation trends, program effectiveness, and key metrics.
  • Assist in the development and communication of compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Provide mentoring and support to junior analysts as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 2+ years of progressive compensation experience, ideally in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS/compensation systems.
  • Experience with market pricing methodologies, job evaluation, and incentive plan design.
  • Knowledge of federal and state compensation regulations, including pay equity laws.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills; able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
