Position Overview
Drack Construction Management is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on active projects in and around Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both ground-up construction and adaptive reuse projects, with the ability to manage schedules, coordinate trades, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site construction activities from start through project completion
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Maintain project schedules and sequencing to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Conduct daily site walks and quality control inspections
  • Coordinate inspections with local authorities and consultants
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and documentation using Procore
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, architects, and engineers
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays and cost impacts

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or residential construction
  • Proven experience with ground-up and adaptive reuse projects
  • Strong working knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
  • Proficiency with Procore and general construction technology
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Experience working in urban, occupied, or tight-site environments is a plus
