Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time virtual position for a Case Manager supporting special education students in a K-12 school setting is available. This role is focused on providing case management services, supporting students' individualized education programs (IEPs), and collaborating with families, educators, and school professionals to ensure compliance and effective educational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseload of special education students, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of IEPs, assessments, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct virtual meetings and coordinate services among educators, therapists, and families.
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for educational accommodations and modifications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
- Facilitate communication between school, families, and related service providers.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid New Hampshire Special Education License.
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager preferred.
- Strong knowledge of K-12 special education policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Virtual position based in Merrimack, NH.
- Part-time hours per week.
- Contract position for the current school year (CSY).
