Position Overview:-

We are seeking a well-seasoned, highly motivated Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth and customer acquisition efforts.
-
The ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable in CNC machining services, with a proven track record of B2B sales success in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. This role requires both strategic insight and hands-on execution to bring new business opportunities to life.
Key Responsibilities:-

Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
-
Identify, qualify, and close prospective clients through outbound outreach, referrals, and industry networking
-
Clearly communicate the value, benefits, and technical capabilities of our CNC machining services
-
Establish and grow long-term relationships with new customers
-
Provide responsive, technical sales support throughout the customer engagement process
-
Lead contract negotiations including pricing, terms, and lead times
-
Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure project success
-
Maintain CRM data and follow-up activity with high attention to detail
-
Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within new accounts
What We're Looking For:-
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or machine shop sales (Required)
-
Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, tolerances, and customer requirements
-
Demonstrated success in technical B2B sales and business development
-
Skilled in contract negotiation and customer relationship management
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Familiarity with industry certifications (ISO, AS9100, ITAR) is a plus
-
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally/regionally as needed
