Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist role is available in Cambridge, MA, offering dynamic opportunities to support student development and well-being within educational settings. This position involves working directly in a school environment, assessing and addressing students' psychological and educational needs, as well as collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective interventions. Candidates must be prepared for some travel between schools as part of their duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
- Consult with school staff to enhance classroom strategies and support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expertise on student mental health
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Appropriate licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in educational settings with children and adolescents
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between school locations
