We are a rapidly scaling sales and marketing agency specializing in direct marketing, face-to-face customer acquisition, door-to-door sales, and live promotional events. Our business is built on high-energy, in-field execution, and as we continue to expand in the Boston market, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong door-to-door sales leadership background to build, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager will lead and manage a team of approximately 30 door-to-door sales representatives, with direct responsibility for hiring, training, performance management, and retention. This role is ideal for someone who has personally worked in door-to-door sales and has successfully led teams in the field as a manager or team lead.
The Sales Manager will be accountable for meeting specific metrics and KPIs set by the Director of Sales and will play a critical role in scaling the organization through hands-on leadership, coaching, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Door-to-Door Team Leadership & Development

Recruit, interview, and onboard door-to-door sales representatives to support rapid growth.

Train and coach team members on door-to-door sales techniques, in-field communication, objection handling, and closing strategies.

Lead from the front with hands-on field presence, including ride-alongs and in-territory coaching.

Conduct daily sales meetings, field briefings, workshops, and ongoing skills development sessions.

Build and maintain a high-energy, performance-driven culture aligned with door-to-door sales success.
Performance & KPI Management

Directly manage, motivate, and evaluate a team of 30 sales representatives.

Ensure consistent achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs related to door-to-door customer acquisition.

Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and corrective action when needed.

Track attendance, productivity, conversions, and overall field performance.
Operational Oversight

Plan and coordinate daily door-to-door sales operations, including territory assignments and team deployment.

Oversee execution of live events and face-to-face campaigns as needed.

Ensure accurate reporting of sales activity, field metrics, and pipeline data.

Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to refine processes, territory strategy, and growth plans.
Strategy & Growth

Partner with senior leadership to scale the sales team and expand market reach.

Analyze field data and trends to identify opportunities for improved performance and efficiency.

Support the launch of new campaigns, promotions, and markets.
Qualifications (Required)

3+ years of experience in door-to-door sales, with direct experience as a Sales Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Lead.

Proven success leading and managing door-to-door sales teams in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding customer acquisition goals and KPIs.

Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate, and retain sales talent.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Experience with sales tracking, reporting, and CRM tools is a plus.
Note: Candidates without prior door-to-door sales leadership experience will not be considered.
