Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team, specializing in nonprofit audits. This role is critical in ensuring our clients adhere to compliance standards and effectively manage their financial resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit audits and demonstrate exceptional analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements for nonprofit organizations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare audit plans and risk assessments to effectively address client needs.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members throughout the audit process.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay updated on nonprofit accounting standards and best practices to provide valuable insights to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on nonprofit organizations.
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and practices.
- CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
