Job Title: Prep Cook
Status: Part Time
Reports to: Taproom Manager
Pay: $18.00 / hour
JOB DESCRIPTION & EXPECTATIONS
Hendler Family Brewing Company is seeking a part time Prep Cook for our Wormtown Patriot Place location. In this role, youll support daily food prep operations, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and help ensure smooth service during taproom hours.
Schedule: Fridays after 3:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks according to standardized recipes and prep lists
- Portion and label prepped food items for service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Support line cooks and kitchen staff during service, including restocking and light dishwashing
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food deliveries
- Follow direction from the Kitchen Manager and respond to changing priorities during service
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Prior prep cook or kitchen experience preferred, but were happy to train the right candidate
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be available for part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends
